Privacy Policy – KeepThemSafe Parental Control

1. Data Controller

We (KeepThemSafe) are the data controller for personal data of subscribers ordering the “KeepThemSafe Parental Control” service. The service is provided in partnership with Orange Jordan.

2. Data We Collect and Why

All personal data is collected on the basis of consent expressed during the registration process. Providing data is voluntary, but without it we will not be able to create your account and provide the service. You may withdraw your consent at any time through your account settings, which may affect the availability of certain features.

Account data — we collect your mobile phone number to authenticate you and manage your account.
Child profile data — when creating a child’s profile, the parent provides the child’s name and date of birth. This data is used solely to personalise protection settings for the child and is processed with particular care as it relates to a minor.
Location data — the application collects GPS location data from the child’s device to enable location tracking and zone-based notifications for the parent. Location data is not used for advertising purposes.
Device activity data — the application collects data about the child’s device usage (such as app usage, screen time, visited websites, and search history) to generate activity reports available to the parent and to enable content filtering features.
Content monitoring data — when the antiHate feature is enabled, the application analyses content displayed on the child’s screen in supported messaging apps and browsers to detect potentially harmful material. Alerts are sent to the parent for review. The child is informed when this feature is active.
Accessibility Service — on Android, the application uses the Accessibility Service to enable content filtering, app blocking, and content monitoring. This service is used exclusively for parental control purposes.

3. Automated Processing

The service automatically filters websites and apps based on parental settings, and generates alerts when harmful content is detected. Parents retain full control and can review and override any automated action. Decisions regarding service access may also be processed automatically based on subscription status managed by Orange Jordan.

4. Cookies

We may ask for your consent to place cookies on your devices to improve the service and fix identified bugs. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through your account settings.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with Orange Jordan and trusted service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. cloud hosting), solely to deliver the service and under strict confidentiality obligations. With your separate consent collected during registration, data may be transferred to third parties outside the Kingdom of Jordan. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at support@keep-them-safe.com.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data, as well as the right to withdraw consent and object to or restrict its processing. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
